Refund Policy

Effective 2026-04-11 · Last updated 2026-04-11

The short version

14-day no-questions refund on every digital kit purchase. Email hello@yarova.ca with your order number. We refund within one business day.

The full version

1. What’s refundable

2. How to request a refund

  1. Email hello@yarova.ca
  2. Include your order number (found in the confirmation email from Stripe)
  3. State that you’re requesting a refund
  4. No explanation required; we don’t ask why

We respond within one business day and process the refund through Stripe. Stripe returns the funds to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (exact timing depends on your card issuer).

3. What happens to your access

When your refund is processed:

4. Exceptional cases

Beyond 14 days. If you’re outside the 14-day window and believe there’s an exceptional circumstance (e.g., the kit was materially broken when you bought it, the product was misrepresented, you have a legitimate hardship), email hello@yarova.ca. We’ll review case-by-case. We’re reasonable.

Subscription cancellations. For subscription products, cancelling stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current period. If you cancel in the first 14 days, we refund the full current period. After 14 days, the current period is typically not refundable, but contact us if the circumstances warrant.

Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your card issuer instead of emailing us, Stripe notifies us and we have 7 days to respond. Chargebacks cost us a $15 fee per dispute regardless of outcome. Please email us first — a direct refund request is faster, cheaper for us, and we’ve never denied one. Disputes triggered without a prior email request are treated seriously; repeated disputes may result in the customer being blocked from future purchases.

5. Why we offer no-questions refunds

Our products are extracted from code we actually run. If they don’t serve your need, that’s a mismatch — not a failure on either side. Making refunds frictionless keeps the relationship clean and lets you buy confidently. A painful refund process would cost us more in trust than it would save in revenue.

6. Currency and taxes

Refunds are issued in the original currency of the purchase (typically Canadian Dollars, CAD). Applicable taxes (GST/HST) are refunded proportionally per Stripe’s tax handling.

7. Exchange rates

If your card issuer applied a currency conversion at purchase, the conversion applied to your refund may differ slightly due to exchange rate movement between purchase and refund. This is controlled by your card issuer, not by Yarova or Stripe.
